Referred to by some as a “Community Kitchen”, P&C will be a counter service deli and coffee shop with a twist, there is no charge. P&C will bring an acknowledgement to a social problem while cultivating connections between the diverse populations of La Crosse. Patrons donate what they can or feel compelled to; in the form of cash or volunteering. Patrons are encouraged to volunteer by cooking, cleaning, and serving.  The model for this unique idea can be found in a number of venues throughout the US.

Here you will enjoy delicious sandwiches, soups, bakery goods, ice cream, and select coffee drinks. Peace and Coffee provides a relaxing atmosphere for a wide variety of age groups along with a peaceful escape for working, studying, reading, or just enjoying a heart warming cup of coffee.

The vision for Peace and Coffee is to provide an environment for the La Crosse community that's oriented around quality service from volunteers, a peaceful and ethically suitable atmosphere, a caring surrounding for each person who enters in, and ultimately a place of change for the La Crosse area. We will be doing so by providing free meals to our customers and building relationships with each person who comes in. We accept donation in return from anyone who wants to give but no one is obligated to do so.

We want Peace and Coffee to be a place for anyone in need. We want to reach out to people and give them a place of good surrounding where they can meet people and interact with one another.
